Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Slarity (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Speav AI (the “Service”). We try to keep this policy short and concrete — if anything is unclear, please reach out.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account data: your name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in.
• Content: the prompts, characters, scenes, stories, and other inputs you create in the Service, plus the generated output we store for you.
• Billing data: if you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor receives your payment details directly; we only store metadata such as plan, status, and the last four digits of your card.
• Support communications: any messages you send us by email or in-product.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage & device data: pages visited, actions taken, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and device identifiers, used to operate, secure, and debug the Service.
• Cookies & similar technologies: strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To generate the AI output you request by sending the necessary prompts and context to our model providers;
• To authenticate you, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To communicate with you about your account, security alerts, and significant product changes;
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prompts or generated content to train third-party AI models on your behalf.

3. Sharing with third parties

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service:

• AI model providers that generate text, images, speech, and music from your prompts;
• Cloud hosting and storage providers that host the Service and your content;
• Authentication and analytics providers that help us sign you in and understand product usage;
• Payment processors that handle subscriptions and one-off purchases.

These providers are bound by contracts limiting what they can do with your data. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g. a merger or acquisition), in which case we’ll notify you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to keep it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons (typically up to 7 years for billing records).

5. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these rights directly in-product from your account settings, or by emailing us at anish@slarity.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we’ll notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by law.

7. International transfers

We and our service providers may process your data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect that data.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
